RUSI & MI6: How Britain Is Engineering the Next European War in the Balkans
By Cupo Cupovski
As the fog of the Ukraine war begins to lift and President Trump signals a withdrawal from endless foreign entanglements, a new front is being prepared — quietly, methodically, and deceptively. The next war zone in Europe may not come from Moscow, but from London’s hidden hand. Welcome to the Balkans, and to the quiet empire of RUSI.
RUSI – The Think Tank That Speaks for MI6
The Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) calls itself “independent,” but let’s be honest — it is the de facto mouthpiece of Britain’s deep state.
- Founded in 1831 by the Duke of Wellington — a creature of empire
- Filled with ex-MI6, MI5, and GCHQ officials posing as “fellows”
- Funded by British government departments and military-industrial contractors
- Always in sync with NATO talking points
This isn’t analysis. It’s strategic messaging. And when the narrative goes wrong, Downing Street can say, “We didn’t say that — RUSI did.”
Destabilizing the Balkans — British Strategy 101
While the public is distracted with Gaza, Iran, and Taiwan, the British establishment is working overtime to stoke tensions in the Balkans:
- RUSI reports repeatedly warn about “Russian influence” in Bosnia, Serbia, and Montenegro
- They amplify political instability in Republika Srpska, labeling it a separatist threat
- Kosovo-Serbia clashes are always framed to favor NATO-aligned regimes
- Western-funded NGOs echo RUSI’s claims to create an artificial chorus of “concern”
The goal isn’t peace. The goal is pre-justification for intervention.
Why Britain Wants a Balkan War
Let’s cut through the diplomatic fluff.
A new war in the Balkans would benefit the UK in several ways:
- Arms exports to Balkan NATO members → profits for BAE Systems, Thales UK, etc.
- Ukraine-style debt financing → IMF & World Bank loans, leading to decades of Balkan dependency
- Refugee displacement → another wave of chaos to manipulate EU politics
- Restored military relevance → UK troops "saving" Bosnia or Kosovo while America steps back
If Trump withdraws U.S. troops from Europe, Britain will gladly fill the gap — with flags, peacekeepers, and private contractors in tow.
The Script Is Already Written
This is how imperial games work:
- RUSI releases a “report” warning about a threat.
- Media repeats it, unquestioned.
- Tensions rise, with provocations encouraged behind the scenes.
- The UK “responds” — militarily, financially, and with occupation disguised as peacekeeping.
It’s Iraq all over again — but with Orthodox churches instead of oil fields, and London instead of Washington.
“When the war breaks out, they will cry ‘We warned you.’ But they never say who lit the fuse.”
This time, we know who’s holding the match.
