In the 20th century, the Soviet Union was the symbol of centralized control, ideological fanaticism, and imperial domination. Today, that role has been quietly handed over — not to Moscow — but to Berlin.

Yes, Germany is the new Soviet Union. Not in the form of tanks and gulags, but through bureaucracy, ideology, and cultural warfare. The modern EU superstate, steered by Germany, operates with the same cold arrogance and top-down enforcement that once defined the Eastern Bloc.

Exporting Ideology

The USSR exported Marxism-Leninism with red flags and propaganda leaflets. Today’s Germany exports woke totalitarianism: mass migration, radical gender theory, climate hysteria, anti-nationalism. These are not organic European values. They are imposed narratives, manufactured in Berlin and enforced via EU directives, NGO networks, and compliant media.

What the Soviets tried with communism, Germany now does with “diversity” and “green transition.” And just like the old system, it’s not about justice or truth — it’s about control.

Bureaucratic Imperialism

The Kremlin used the Red Army and the KGB. Germany uses Brussels. The EU is Berlin’s empire — unelected, untouchable, and unaccountable. Laws are written by bureaucrats no one voted for. Nations are punished for defending their culture, borders, or faith.

Poland and Hungary are vilified. Croatia is pressured to betray its traditions. Every free people who resists the Berlin-Brussels axis is treated like a rebellious province of the new Empire.

Crushing Dissent

In the USSR, dissent meant exile or prison. In today’s EU, it means cancellation, fines, media assassination, or EU sanctions. The method changed — the message is the same: Obey, or be destroyed.

Freedom of speech, religious values, national identity — all are sacrificed to the new ideological cult. Like Soviet communism, this cult allows no deviation. It calls itself progress. It is tyranny.

A Weak Army, a Strong Grip

Ironically, Germany’s military is weaker than ever. But it doesn’t need tanks — its power is structural. It controls the money through the European Central Bank, the language through media, the rules through legal treaties. Like the late USSR, it dominates without winning wars.

And when it needs hard power, it hides behind NATO and American weapons — while preaching peace and human rights.

Rulers Without Mandate

In Soviet times, the Politburo ruled without the people’s consent. Today, Germany’s elite — Scholz, Baerbock, von der Leyen — do the same. Who elected them to reshape Europe? Who gave them the right to rewrite our culture and crush our sovereignty?

They answer to global institutions, not to their own citizens. Their loyalty is to Davos, not to Germany — and certainly not to us.

Conclusion: Red Stars Replaced by Rainbow Flags

The EU’s flag may be blue, but its soul is red — the red of ideological tyranny. Only now, instead of Lenin, we get climate activists. Instead of commissars, we get NGOs. Instead of Soviet tanks, we get German directives.

Germany has become the spiritual successor of the Soviet Union — a force of globalist domination hiding behind the mask of liberal democracy.

It’s time to say it clearly.

The West did not defeat the USSR. It absorbed it — and put Berlin in charge.
