Why Croatia Must Stop Following Berlin By Cupo Cupovski
For over a century, Croatia has repeatedly chosen the wrong side of history — not by accident, but by allegiance. And too often, that allegiance pointed toward Berlin.
Let’s review:
- World War I: As part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, we stood beside the German Kaiserreich. We lost.
- World War II: The Independent State of Croatia allied with Nazi Germany. We lost again — and were branded forever by the victors as "fascists" and "war criminals," while Serbia got to reinvent itself as a victim.
- 1990s War for Independence: For the first time in modern history, Croatia stood alone. No Berlin. No Vienna. No Brussels. We faced a larger, Russian-backed Yugoslav war machine and survived. We won.
And now, in 2025, the question arises again: Whose path are we following?
The New Germany Is Not What You Think
Today’s Germany is not the disciplined industrial power of the past. It is a hollowed-out puppet state — pushing woke ideology, LGBTQ+ extremism, and globalist submission to the European Union's unelected oligarchy. It’s a Germany led by Ursula von der Leyen and Friedrich Merz — two faces of the same Atlanticist coin.
Modern Germany pushes:
- Pedophilic normalization under the guise of “sexual rights”
- Radical gender ideology in schools and media
- Unquestioned loyalty to NATO’s war machine
- Economic dependence on green utopias that kill industry
- Mass immigration under the banner of “tolerance”
- Zionist narratives while silencing Christian values
And Croatia, like a loyal vassal, follows suit. Our elites in Zagreb dance to Berlin’s tune — even when it means betraying our culture, our faith, and our people.
The European Union: A New Empire with Old Tricks
Let’s be clear — the EU today is not a community of sovereign nations. It’s a soft-totalitarian project. It wears the mask of “unity” but acts as an imperial enforcer, crushing national identity and religious tradition.
Brussels is just the new Vienna. Or worse — the new Moscow.
The Croatian people never voted to be part of a Soviet-style federalist utopia, where Brussels and Berlin dictate everything from border policy to curriculum, from currency to speech laws.
And who benefits? Not the Croatian farmer. Not the war veteran. Not the Catholic family in Slavonia. No — it's the bankers, the foreign NGOs, the rainbow-flag bureaucrats, and the globalist puppets in power.
Time to Break the Pattern
We must learn from history. Following Berlin has brought Croatia only shame, defeat, and cultural erosion. Standing on our own — guided by truth, by tradition, by God — brought us victory in the 1990s.
We are not Germans. We are not Soviets.
We are Croats — a proud, Catholic, Balkan nation.
Let Berlin follow Sodom. Let Brussels kneel to Mammon.
As for us?
It’s time Croatia follows Christ, not Klaus Schwab.
It’s time we reclaim sovereignty, morality, and truth.
It’s time we stop following Berlin.
